HERA Community Grants
The HERA Women's Cancer Foundation will give two seed grants annually of $1000. each to organizations to help start programs or support existing programs that improve the quality of life for women with the disease or to raise awareness in novel and unusual ways.
How to apply:
- Download the Grant Application (pdf)
- Applicants must be a 501c3 Charitable organization
- There are 2 grant cycles
- Cycle 1 Grant requests must be received by January 2
- Cycle 2 Grant requests must be received by June 1

Community Support
- Travel related seed grants were awarded to seven rural communities on Colorado’s Western slope which empowers women undergoing treatment.
- A similar grant offers immediate assistance to women undergoing treatment at HOPE, Oklahoma
- A grant was given to the University of Utah Department of GynOncology to create a state awareness and support program.
- The Women's Wilderness Institute received a grant to create a five day program for women battling cancer.
- OCAN of Nevada was awarded a grant to develop a wellness program for women with reproductive cancers.
- Awards were made to existing support programs in Aspen, Colorado, California, Utah, California, Washington, Minnesota, and Nevada.
